The 25th has been a special day. On the one hand, it was a special day in the countdown for Christmas : only one more month to go! :). As it would also be the opening of the Weihnachtmarkt (Christmas Market) in Basel, I quickly passed by to check it out. I haven't seen anything special, to be honest, but still I got the chance to drink a Glühwein that was being offered. This drink, quite typical in germanophone countries, is made of heated red wine with spices and sugar, and it's simply devine in colder days.
On the other hand, me and Tina have received a visit from a friend of ours, Corina, and she had barely left our place when she called Tina. "It's snowing!", she said. We went to the window and saw the snow falling in Basel (even though we're in Switzerland it is not common to snow in Basel, and I was already mentally prepared not to see any snow in this city :P). On the following day it was beautiful to see everything covered with snow, especially here where I live as there are many trees dressed in white. Since then snow has become part of our daily life, and as I am writting it continues snowing outside :).
